Fusor Necklace

For the last year and a half, my friend Mark Suppes has been building a nuclear fusion reactor in his studio here in Brooklyn. At one point, he began raising funds for his project through Kickstarter.com. As an incentive to donate, he offered gifts to donors of a certain level.
I created the Fusor necklace as one of those gifts. This piece replicates the shape of the structure within his reactor where the fusing of atoms occurs. Each piece is made of sterling silver on a 20" stainless steel ball chain.
