Cinder Block Collection
We make these pieces exactly how they should be made, using the appropriate materials. Each cinder block is carefully cast by hand from a very fine cement and we make the chains from surgical grade stainless steel. Over time cement significantly increases in strength, so we allow each block to cure for about 1 month before the finishing stage. This lets the piece be as strong as possible. It's pretty durable for its size, but we tell people to treat the piece with care.
Each 3/4 in. Cinder Block is created from fine, hand cast cement. The block hangs from a 20" Stainless Steel chain with a clasp. The tiny cinder blocks are fragile, and may break if dropped or smashed against an immovable object, so handle with care! For an unbreakable option, the Cinder Block Necklace is also available in sandblasted stainless steel.
