The pieces of all of the boxes are laser cut/engraved and hand sanded. The pieces are then carefully fit together and glued just a bit for added support. Some of the boxes incorporate metal hinges while others have the lid assembled into the sides, eliminating the need for a separate hinge. Many of the boxes are latched with tiny magnets set into the wood.

This ring box is crafted from Amazon Rosewood and is engraved with the crease pattern of 4 unfolded origami cranes. The hinge is made from blackened steel and is secured to the wood with four tiny sets of antiqued brass nuts and bolts. The clasp of the box is two very tiny magnets carefully set into the wood, allowing the box to close with a nice snap.

Baby Teeth Boxes
These boxes make perfect baby shower gifts! I usually laser engrave the sonogram picture of the baby onto the lid of the box. After the baby is born, you can send back the box and I'll engrave the baby's name, birth date, and weight on the inside of the lid!
This 1/8" thick Mahogany box is precision crafted with 20 sections...1 to hold each of the 20 baby teeth! The box is self hinged, and has a magnetic clasp.
